Over and over and over again

I have to admit I'm drawing a blank here. It's that time of year when nothing is going on, and mentally I feel semi-unstimulated. I'm getting so desperate that I got into an argument on a local forum over the feasibility of using crabon fibre for bike frames and components. It was fun for awhile, but after a few pages it felt more like arguing about health care reform with a Tea Bagger. Speaking of teabaggers, arguing, and such I spent way too much time looking at the protest signs from John Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity. This one is my favorite, but only because if you know you know:

Something may be going on eventually that I could talk about now but I won't in the near future or the present. Usually in this scenario I talk too soon, and somehow it all falls down around my feet and piles up as high as my ass, so I'm holding back this time. If I've learned anything from watching the movie Groundhog Day a million times it's that when you find yourself in the same situation over and over again you will get the same results if you do the same thing. If you wanna sleep with Andie Macdowell you need to step back, think it through, and be patient. You have to keep telling yourself "This is the day I will sleep with Andie Macdowell. Just keep your shit together and be patient."

So will things go silent here? Perhaps. As I get better at photoshop I may lean heavily upon that skill and get less wordy. More than likely I'll find something to blog about... I always do.

Death knell?

I've been doing it for five years...

and yes, I do want to sleep with Andie Macdowell, but the 1993 Andie Macdowell.

Yeah!!!
Those damn Tea Baggers... I can't believe anyone would want the Government to live within their means. Record spending and unemployment is so cool and all those politicians are honest, trustworthy people.
I say more power to the Government, take more of my money, keep creating government jobs that don't produce anything, just print more money and give out like candy at Halloween.

I think you just lost a reader, haha. I doubt he's a real tea bagger though, not enough grammar errors.

BTW some of those signs are really great...

Ahh, the inevitable death thread. Maybe you're just bitter with the rest of the liberal socialists because your mesiah not only failed miserably but now the oblamo! disaster is thankfully coming to an end.

Teabaggers? I thought only you liberal homos were into that? Stay classy!

How's my spelling Luis?

Hum, Andie MacDowell is on Facebook. Have you sent your friend request?

Also, she lives near Asheville. Have you offered to show her around Pisgah or Dupont.

i think all cycling based blogs should take the winter off.
i think they should get fat and ugly from neglect.

you need to pump this bitch full of empty calories and really let it all hang out...rant rave alienate your core audience...then in march declare emphatically how things are going to be better.

i guess what i'm saying is...your writing wont necessarily improve, so, let the content slip long enough that when you do post something intelligible...people think it's better...

Polarize my audience and then recapture it? I'm no Robert Downey Jr. I have the feeling this would go more Mel Gibson on me.

Which do you think Andie Macdowell would find more attractive?

Andie MacDowell or Kim Basinger from the 90s? Tough call:)

I can't believe you're still mixing it up with Professor Google over there on the local forum.

Oh yeah, where's the "like" button for Peter's comment?

Perhaps you can change the format of your blog in the future;

Monday; answer fans questions

Tuesday; insighful analysis of latest Krugman column

Wednesday;bike related post

Thursday; Recipe sharing

Friday; Sonya Looney Pictures

No, see, now is the time we blog harder to make Canadians and Vermonters and other snowed-in people jealous.

Also, since Thad seems to be slacking on the copyediting duties: it is Groundhog DAY.

You're already doing a decent job alienating the Tea Baggers.

I can't believe they read...I mean have someone read your blog to them anyway.

Short and skinny is the new gay and Muslim to them.
