When the biggest thing going on IRL is finding the right blind for your bike room/man cave/velo den, it's just like that.
Work seems to be getting in the way of getting things done around the house. That and a certain amount of lethargy. PMBAR is just four days away. I'm glad we chose the less manly route of staying at the Hampton instead of camping. Although sleeping outside used to be just one more element to the game, knowing that some of the strongest PMBARians are sleeping in their own beds Friday night?
Give me a hotel room... just this once (or for the next eleven years).
Instead of searching big blue bins for my camping pillow, I can just sort out nutrition...
and required gear...
and that's all I need.
Tomorrow morning, I'll get it all sorted out. Then I can go back to measuring for blinds again. So I'm gonna cut this short so I can wash my bike before the predicted monsoons come and make after work bike washes a danger to life and limb.
In closing, my favorite part about the new digs? The prison bathroom on the first floor right around the corner from the bike room and across from the laundry (so nice for a mountain bike enthusiast).
If you get it, you get it.

Clap.clap.clap... Once again, I was on the edge of my seat. Its a good thing this entry was so riveting, that is the only thing that kept me from sliding off the front of my chair.
Sadly[wipes tear from cheek] the pictures would not load. I really wanted to see if the house came with three or five inch baseboard. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait until the hardcover version of your blogary hits the shelves.
