I slept in today. No solid plans for this dog-free/family-free weekend, just wanting to maximize my potential energy
I could race Six Hours of Riding Around in Circles with Others.
Reasons not to:
I'm not fully healed.
It's six hours of something which is three more hours of something than I can wrap my head around.
An anticipated Friday post-work stop at The Spoke Easy would not be conducive to making great bike race.
It's gonna be a 95° day, and that can melt a person's brain.
Reasons fur it:
I could stop and see Watts on the way home and plug up the Revolution Cycles toilet.
I could head to the mountains.
Reasons not to:
I'm not fully healed.
I'm thinking about how great sleeping in (again) would feel.
An anticipated Friday post-work stop at The Spoke Easy would not be conducive to making great bike ride.
It's gonna be an 85° day, and that can melt a person's Peanut M&M's.
Reasons fur it:
I could stop and see Sam and Jordan on the way home and plug up the Hub/Pisgah Tavern toilet.
On the other other hand, I could just stay home in the air conditioning and plug my own toilet....
My only bike that's fully operational/available is the Vertigo/Meatplow V.7, still set up with a rigid frok, but unendurbled (the Chronicle 3.0 is sitting in the fireplace again). Don't know if I'm ready to ride Pisgah rigid quite yet, but also don't know if I want to make this bike Six Hours of Riding Around in Circles with Others ready.
I do know that I'm fully prepared for a weekend of air conditioning and sleeping and making the By:Stickel/Meatplow V.6 fully functional and then more sleeping... and I still haven't seen Mad Max yet.
So don't tell me how it ends... although I expect there will be a rather exciting car chase.
Beats the crap outta me what I'm gonna do.
Someone push me. SRSLY.
