Of course...

Of course the day that I wake up early and write a post breaking the news that Instagram and FaceBook have both blocked my blerhg, they go ahead and unblock it.  No explanation, no apology, no warning as to how to avoid blockage in the future, no medal, pink slip and 'sorry about your hand.'

Hopefully posting an image of fictional mad bomber doesn't break some kinda "community standard."

Forty or so minutes wasted.  The ban lasted for approximately four days and a half days.  That seems terribly random.  I did appreciate the more than usual comments of support.  I sorta miss the days when people actually left comments, even the hateful ones.  At least it was feedback.

So, you suffered a ranty crybaby post instead of hearing the tale of our Saturday ride shit show that went from being a tight 25 miles ride and ended up being something closer to 41 miles.

A closed road I knew about but had no idea it would interrupt our plan to drive from the meeting point to a start location on a whole nother side of the forest.

Three idiots who thought we'd just leave a car on the wrong side of the forest and ride over to where we needed to be.  Three grown ass men with families and jobs and brains and the ability to dress ourselves... and a total lack of forethought.

A stranger who rolled up in his truck looking to go fishing and mebbe riding later who Todd convinced to swap his agenda and join us with his one water bottle, no tools, and Red Bull Rampage skill set.

Basically, it was the classic Pisgah experience I haven't had in a while.  Low on food and water, a pop up storm, ride-saving water absconded from a church, a couple wrecks, a moment when the group split up and kinda lost each other, two flat tires caused by the same rock at a time when one adult who was running late for an adult thing didn't need any more delays because we parked one car unnecessarily far away from where it could have been

No one needs to know that Brian bathed in a creek before attending a fund raiser that night.  No one needs to know that.

Things are back to normal (for now), and I got some races coming up, and I got some things to blerhg about... so mebbe we'll all be okay?

I hate when adulting infringes on my stupidity...
