Now what?

Here it is... essentially "done."

I knew when I bought it, there were nits that would need picked eventually.  I thought it would take longer to get here, but impatience and too much time on my hands were the impetus for success.  As it sits now, it's something just over 24lbs.  It has a proper amount of droop now, plump XC'ish tires, bits that don't smash the top tube, and brakes that I know how to service.

I wonder how well it rides...

For all yinz that think I'll sell it sooner rather than later, realize all the stock parts are already sold off, and while parting it out now wouldn't be impossible, it would be a real pain in the ass.  I intend to have much fun on this bike... whenever I'm able to have fun on bikes again.

Speaking of fun, how 'bout a pointless contest?

Guess how many parts are NOT stock (and name them) and win a prize. What's a "part?"  A tire is a part.  A frame is a part.  A spoke is not a part but a part of a part called a "wheel."  I know you understands.

I'd say what the prize is, but who's even gonna come close to guessing?  It's going to probably take me a half hour to get an exact count, and I'm the one who put all of it on there in the first place.

Front Brake (brake/lever combo)
Rear Brake (brake/lever combo)

I can't believe it still has shifty bits on it. Amazing.

Axles & bearings are parts of parts but not parts themselves, so 7.
