Watts from Revolution Cycles sent me something that will become a go-to piece of kit (until I wreck and tear this shit up).

I was perusing MTBR the other day, and I saw a video of MTBR flounder Francis Cebebo interviewing some guy buying a Steve Potts frame at NAHBS.
LWAC sent me a link to the unipiper video.
What's most awesome to me was the top comment.
I assume George left this comment under his youtube alias.
Speaking of George, I couldn't help but think of him when I saw this image:

The project that the selling of my road bike has fueled gained momentum Sunday night. I was out on a beer run when a local called and said he was home so I could pick up my new/used bike parts. He happened to live in my neighborhood and when I rolled into his driveway, his Misfit DiSSent was parked in the driveway. I had never met him before. Now he is moving out of my neighborhood. Anyways, I got a stem, bar, and long seatpost (which I swapped for The Boy's short Thomson).

And the By:Stickel update you've been waiting for...
Steve sent me some photos taken post-powder coat/pre-vinyl and decal applique.
The other powder photo he emailed my way sent me into Monk Mode.

Anyways, I hope he washes his hands before he applies the vinyl happiness.

Dia-Compe?
the levers look to have out of the 90's so i would have to go 1+ on the Dia-compe responce or may be they are the "high end" version from cane creek?
but I did have a set of Avid's that had a big bushing/pivot like thouse so?
any way most cyclist have never even rocked a sleevless jesery so how can they knock the "look" in the first place? but too much embrocation? .....I think they ment the "racers" version spay tan with hot sauice in it? if there was a choice of any embrocation I think that should have been the top "sin"
Real levers
Soooooo close wESd.
But just like Dire Straits, so far away from me.
not my contest of course but I think I have been out geeked....
do I get any pnts if I have a Real sleeveless jersey?
John Parker
No points for you, but I have some extremely used Real rings if you want them.
BTW: Dia Compe... way off the mark.
yeh, looked at the couple variations of Real levers as soon as I got to MOMBAT this morning and realized I was wrong.
Win... I stumped the MOMBAT master!
Precision billet. I think those clamps are hinged...
Plum
Jason...
shoots....
brick.
Pauls/Kooka hybrid?
PV...
Go back to old school.
What I win....?
I'll shoot one out there...Koski? Probably way off. And that stem looks super long too.
PV,
Head back to school because you were wrong. Nothing to win by losing. This ain't 1st grade.
Koski?
Whoski?
No
Onza?
They are not a paul's either (seems close) but I do have a sleevless jeresy from them as well. But I still but I don't get anything for that do I?
they are not onza's, grafton's and I don't think marinovative or IRD made levers....these may not be vintage after all?
acK!!...This is killing me. I gots to know.
P/S: Forgot ditch the silver shades for some white one's to make that ensemble POP, please.
Alright, 2nd guess, Altek levers?
Plum
Jason,
Something smells.
Did you fart?
Strike two.
This game sucks.
This one's tricky. That star-wheel has me stumped and I don't see a reach adustment screw. Can't remember an adjuster that large on a lever set I've ever seen that's not on a motorcycle or ...
Got me on this one, Rich.
Did it creep you out that he lives by you, bought your road bike, and rides a misfit? He might take the skin off your face and wear it while racing, telling people he is rich d.
Nice ACS Beale levers you got there .
tektro
You guys all suck, they are old Avid levers. 1st gen canti's. I have apair in my basement. A friend used to race downhill with em. Along with the OG shortys. I'm writing this whilst on the throne...
