This one goes all over the place

I've got things piled up, and I'm letting them loose in no particular order. All new bike related content is at the very bottom.

Watts from Revolution Cycles sent me something that will become a go-to piece of kit (until I wreck and tear this shit up).

I'm sorry, but the 33% of the cycling population that thought that armwarmers with a sleeveless jersey is "the worst style sin a cyclist can commit" never saw these armwarmers before.

I was perusing MTBR the other day, and I saw a video of MTBR flounder Francis Cebebo interviewing some guy buying a Steve Potts frame at NAHBS.

The google ad threw me off, and I could no longer pay attention. The good news is that I now have beautiful Chinese lady on order. What can I say? I couldn't let her become "other's GF!"

LWAC sent me a link to the unipiper video.

What's most awesome to me was the top comment.

"I have never masturbated so furiously in my entire life."

I assume George left this comment under his youtube alias.

Speaking of George, I couldn't help but think of him when I saw this image:

The Iron Maiden hoodie; George... although the manscaping made me think of Mike McCormack, the barbie pose; Evan Plews, and the balding dude who kept his pants on to hide his shame; Peter. The girls just reminded me of the largest portion of my fan base; attractive Christian women.

The project that the selling of my road bike has fueled gained momentum Sunday night. I was out on a beer run when a local called and said he was home so I could pick up my new/used bike parts. He happened to live in my neighborhood and when I rolled into his driveway, his Misfit DiSSent was parked in the driveway. I had never met him before. Now he is moving out of my neighborhood. Anyways, I got a stem, bar, and long seatpost (which I swapped for The Boy's short Thomson).

Full metal Thomson jacket. Name those ancient levers and win a prize (that you probably don't actually want).

And the By:Stickel update you've been waiting for...

Steve sent me some photos taken post-powder coat/pre-vinyl and decal applique.

White as the day is long (like my wiener).

The other powder photo he emailed my way sent me into Monk Mode.

What's Steve been eating whilst working on my beautiful frame?

Perhaps this?

I guess he's not doing the whole Paleo/Atkins thing.

Cavemen ate chicken tenders, right?

Anyways, I hope he washes his hands before he applies the vinyl happiness.

Color removed to add a sense of mystery.

Dia-Compe?

John Parker said...

the levers look to have out of the 90's so i would have to go 1+ on the Dia-compe responce or may be they are the "high end" version from cane creek?

but I did have a set of Avid's that had a big bushing/pivot like thouse so?

any way most cyclist have never even rocked a sleevless jesery so how can they knock the "look" in the first place? but too much embrocation? .....I think they ment the "racers" version spay tan with hot sauice in it? if there was a choice of any embrocation I think that should have been the top "sin"

No points for you, but I have some extremely used Real rings if you want them.

Onza?

John Parker said...

They are not a paul's either (seems close) but I do have a sleevless jeresy from them as well. But I still but I don't get anything for that do I?

they are not onza's, grafton's and I don't think marinovative or IRD made levers....these may not be vintage after all?

acK!!...This is killing me. I gots to know.

P/S: Forgot ditch the silver shades for some white one's to make that ensemble POP, please.

Something smells.

Did you fart?

This game sucks.

This one's tricky. That star-wheel has me stumped and I don't see a reach adustment screw. Can't remember an adjuster that large on a lever set I've ever seen that's not on a motorcycle or ...

Got me on this one, Rich.

Did it creep you out that he lives by you, bought your road bike, and rides a misfit? He might take the skin off your face and wear it while racing, telling people he is rich d.

Nice ACS Beale levers you got there .
